Happy Birthday !

I was twelve when I met you, 

We're both the same,

And oh, so very young.

We knew almost nothing.

Nothing at all.

We're classmate, deskmate, 

And so on we're best friend.

It's been twenty years now

and our friendship still strong.

I can hardly believe

we've been best friend this long.

Looking back makes me smile,

We’ve shared many moments 

laughing and talking.

Not just as best friend,

but as sister too.
